What the rating means: rank and authority
The rating ranks a domain by who links to it. We count how many other sites link to it, and a link from a well linked site counts for more. The top of the scale is tight: going from 70 to 80 is much harder than going from 10 to 20. That keeps the numbers easy to compare across millions of sites, so a list of them is worth sorting.

- A fair spread of other sites link to it, and those sites are linked to as well.

It is an independent 0–100 logarithmic rating based on the number and authority of unique linking domains, computed from our own web-scale link index and refreshed monthly. The current data is from August 2026. How that works.
What is a good rating?
It depends on what you compare it with, and that is the point. The high numbers are only for the sites almost everything links to, so most working sites sit between 10 and 40. What matters is how a domain compares with the others on your list.
How many checks do I get?
3 a day without an account, 25 a day with a free one. Each check takes a list of up to 10,000 domains. If you need every domain instead of a list, that is what the bulk data is for.
Do you keep the domains I look up?
No. We look it up, we tell you, and the domain is never written down or kept anywhere. Read the policy.
